Entangled In Advertising

Entangled in an advertising system so completely reliant on indoctrination and domination over every aspect of cultural space, is it possible to break free from a force that has had us in its powerful grip for so long?  Maybe the first step should be that we, as a concerned society, point our collective finger of blame at ourselves first and foremost, and take an honest look at the reality of our self-defeating immersion. It is important to constantly gauge our involvement in external stimuli. The more we enmesh ourselves with any type of belief system, the greater risk we have of ignoring the limitations of that structure and remove any chance for objectivity.  The cost of ignorance and indifference may someday soon be too great to pay.
